Lucky Pierrot is a hamburger fast food chain local to Hakodate. Each of
the 17 restaurants is supposed to have a different theme, with eccentric
decorations. Of course, they also have their own vending machines as well,
which sell
the chains own lucky guarana drink and energy drink. The guarana drink is made from the Brasilian guarana fruit, and
apparently in Brasil it is just as popular as cola in North America and
Europe. According to pictures on the internet the lucky guarana can also
have a picture of the famous night view of Hakodate on its back.
ラッキーピエロは函館地元のバーガーチェーン店だ。全ての１７点は別様で派手な飾りがあるそうだ。もちろん、チェーン店は自分の自販機もあって、自分の「ラッキーガラナ」と「ラッキーパワー888」というソフトドリンクを売っている。ガラナは同じ名前があったブラジルの果物から作られる。ブラジルでガラナの人気さはアメリカでコーラの人気と同じだそうだ。北海道にも結構人気だそうだ。インターネットで見た写真によるとラッキーガラナの缶の後ろ側で函館の有名な夜景もある。
As the bonus vending machine, here is the vending machine at the start of
one of the hiking routes up to the aforementioned night view of Hakodate.
I also included the ones at the top. The city is located partly on a
peninsula, with a mountain at the tip of the peninsula. At night, looking
from the top of the mountain the city lights outline the peninsula
beautifully. You can normally go up to the mountain with a cable car, but
when we were there, it was under maintenance, so we tried to hike up on
one of the routes. The picture is from the start of the route, the
darkness in the background is the actual path. I've read online that you
can hike up during the night with flashlights, but without knowing the way
I didn't dare to, and we ended up going by bus. Funnily enough, we did end
up seeing some highschoolers preparing to go onto the path. We also
spotted them at the top later, so it's definitely possible if you are
confident in not getting lost.
ボーナス自販機はその夜景に行く歩き道の始まりであった自販機だ。山の上の自販機も撮った。函館はやや半島にあって、半島の末に山があって、夜に町の光は半島の輪郭を美しく見せている。普段はロープウェイに登れるけど、私達そこにいった時は整備のためで休業中だった。だから、どちらかの歩き道を登ってみたかった。でも、写真の背景はその道の始まりで、真っ黒だったし、道を知らなかったし、結局バスに乗ることにした。諦めて、道から戻る時は多分中学生か高校学生の男子の群れを見た。男子が道を入りそうで、後で山の上にまた見かけて、やっぱり夜中に歩いて登るのもできるようだ。
