This "water factory" vending machine was inside one of our favourite
stores, LIFE; with this specific location welcoming you with giant letters
saying
"Thank you for coming to LIFE".
Their website
describes it in detail, but basically it sells water cleaned with reverse
osmosis and let's you choose the hardness of the water, with various
hardnesses recommended for different things. They also promote reducing
plastic waste by using
"reusable bottles".
この「water
factory」自販機はLIFEというスーパーの中にあった。近くに泊まっている間はよくこのスーパーで買い物をして、毎回自販機を見て、どういう自販機なのかはっきり分からなかったから、後で調べられるように写真を撮った。自販機のサイトで詳しく書いてあるけど、つまり水の自販機で、純粋水から硬水まで選べられて、目的によって勧められる種類が違う。そして、プラゴミを減らすために、マイボトルというリユースできるボトルも勧められている。
ところで、LIFEは私にとても面白い看板あった。「Thank you for coming to LIFE」と書いてあって、「LIFEに来てくれてありがとう」という風にも「命を吹き込まれてくれてありがとう」という風にも解釈できるんだから。
