This day we went to Miyajima and I more or less got the photo that I
should have gotten in Nara, as there were deer in the town here as well
(although not nearly as many as in Nara). Unfortunately the deer is not as
close to the machine as I'd like, but on the flipside I technically also
included Itsukushima shrine as well, through a poster. Interestingly, as
far as I could tell a lot of vending machines on Miyajima attempted to
blend in with their surroundings a little bit, with this one having a
wooden pattern as well. The bakery behind the machine is one I'd like to
go back and try in the future, because looking at google maps it turns out
to specialise in koppepan. Koppepan is very similar to a hot-dog bun and
the shop offers various fillings with it, among my favourite and absolute
classic, yakisoba-pan. This is essentially a bun filled with yakisoba
(stirfried noodles). I wasn't aware that these were sold fresh, and only
got them in convenience stores and supermarkets during our stay :(
